M-Powered Dial-Up Access Plans

Mozcom offers a wide variety of dial-up access plans for every type of
Internet user, whether it's for those who require only access with nothing
else, or those who want additional services such as accelerated Net surfing
or built-in antivirus protection.

Value Added Service Points

With the exception of the MozLite plans, the M-Powered Premium Plans
provide Value-Added Service (VAS) points that you can use to avail of
optional services such as NetProtect, NetRocket, National/International
Roaming, and others. From the table above, the amount of VAS points obtained
differ for each M-Powered plan and can be consumed for the following services
listed in the VAS Basket below:

M-POWERED Accounts

Each M-Powered account will have its own mailbox and hard disk storage
allocation, and can have up to 3 free sub-accounts.
Except for the Moz+ accounts, the sub-accounts will have their hours summed
up with the main account.

Charges for Excess ACCESS Usage

For usage beyond the free hours, all MozLite Plans are charged at PhP
30.00 per hour. Excess hours for M-Powered Plans are charged at 4 VAS
points per minute.

CHARGE FOR EXCESS VAS USAGE

Excess in VAS usage will be billed at PhP 0.10 per VAS credit; unused
VAS credits will be automatically converted to this Peso equivalent and
offset against any excess in access usage. VAS points are not cumulative--they
do not carry over to the next month if not fully consumed.

Upgrade/Downgrade Charges

There is no charge for upgrading a subscription; however, the charge
for each downgrade is PhP 220.00, and is effected on the start of the
following month. It is considered a downgrade if the new plan being requested
has a lower monthly charge than the existing plan (roaming or non-roaming
capability is not a basis for consideration).

Discounts for Advance Payment of Subscription

A 6% discount is given for 6 months advanced payment for subscriptions;
a 12% discount for 12 months advance payment. The discount applies only
to the regular subscription plan; excess usage charges must still be paid
separately.

Change of Log-in Name

Subscribers who wish to change their user log-in name will have to pay
an additional fee of PhP 220.00.

Expandable File Storage Space

Each account is initially provided with 100 megabytes (MB) of disk space
for storing e-mail and 15 megabytes (MB) of disk space for other files or webpages on our servers.
Subscribers
may rent additional storage space at 100 VAS pts / MB.

Signing up for a Mozcom Account

Go to your nearest Mozcom main office or PoP office and fill up an account
form; or download the Adobe Acrobat version
of the account application form. Don't forget to also read Mozcom's Service
Agreement.

Restriction of Phone Numbers

In order to avoid unauthorized usage of your Mozcom account, you can
also specify phone numbers and locations that will be exclusively used
by the dial-up account; download the Phone
Number Restriction form here.

New accounts are installed for free at our Makati Business Center or
at any place you specify within Metro Manila for an
additional fee. Accounts are activated or reactivated only upon full
payment of all relevant fees and charges.

NETPROTECT

The NetProtect antivirus service
is an annual subscription; once you sign up, you cannot enable/disable
this service on a month-to-month basis--it has to be for a year.

NETROCKET

Once NetRocket has been activated
within the month, it will be billed. Once 'on', it remains 'on' until
the month's end; deactivating it within that month will still be billed
for a full month's service.

Minimum System Requirements

• IBM-PC or compatible systems, Apple Macintosh
  (NetRocket & NetProtect run on Windows only)
• Operating System: Windows 3.1, Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP/NT,
  or MacOS 7.5
• System memory: 8 MB RAM minimum (16 MB or more
  recommended)
• Disk space: 15 MB of free disk space
• V.34-compatible Modem (28.8 Kbps or higher)
