Internet-based Video Monitoring and recording System

The NetVideo Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is a network appliance that can replace traditional closed circuit tv (CCTV) video surveillance systems.

The base model supports four (4) standard coaxial cameras with four channel CIF (352 x 240) digital recording. Images can be browsed, managed and played back on standard web browsers like MS Internet Explorer or the bundled software over a wide area IP network.

It is easy to install and maintain because it does not require a PC unlike most IP-aware video surveillance systems in the market. You just install it in one corner, attach your traditional CCTV cameras to it, and you are ready to monitor your office or your store over the Internet.

Measuring only 168 x 236 x 64 mm, the NetVideo DVR runs on an embedded Linux platform. It uses a customized MPEG-4 chip to provide optimal compression and quality, with low-bandwidth network transmission. High compression results to smaller storage space requirement allowing a unit equipped with a high capacity disk to store up to a month of continuous recording.

Different compression rate and frame rate based on user requirements are supported. A regular analog TV may be connected to the unit for local display. Viewing may be done in single display, quad display, or sequential display of the four attached cameras.

Regular IDE hard drives of up to 200GB are supported. Network storage using FTP or Network Attached Storage (NAS) is also supported. Recording can be continuous, scheduled, manually or event-based triggered. NetVideo DVR has advanced motion detection capability to initiate actions upon motion, such as, start of recording, sending an email, or alerting the remote surveillance station.

For more demanding requirements, Mozcom offers higher-end PC-based models with quad MPEG-4 chips. Higher density models are also available to support 8, 16 or more cameras. Call us for more info on our 4-camera Starter Kit.

Video Streaming over the Internet

On July 7, 2004, PBA fans around the world were treated to a rare spectacle. For the first time in PBA history, a game was webcasted live over the Internet. And it was not just any game--it was Game 4 of the Fiesta Conference Finals between the crowd-favorite Barangay Ginebra Kings and the Red Bull Barakos, which the Gin Kings won to capture the crown.

Mozcom provided the network facility and resources to make the ground-breaking event possible. Microsoft Windows Media Server and Cisco IPTV technology were utilized. Remote viewers used Microsoft Media Player on their desktops to watch the game.

A total of more than 700 online viewers spanning Singapore to North America, and to the Middle East, tuned in to the webcast.

Videostreaming applications include training, product presentations, demonstrations and marketing.

Professional Video Conferencing with Polycom

In strategic business deals, non-verbal messages and immediate responses are two very important factors. Face-to-face interaction and real-time replies to questions spell the closing of a deal. But if you are thousands of miles away from each other, how do you negotiate in real-time "face-to-face"?

Mozcom’s IP-based video conferencing service allows companies to conduct meetings, interviews, trainings, and seminars for remote participants, at affordable rates using either IP or ISDN-based connections. Connections up to four (4) sites at 384kbps or three (3) sites at 512kbps between Manila, Cebu, Davao and Baguio are possible. International video-conferencing is also available through partners.

Our VideoCon facility uses industry-leader Polycom equipment to deliver TV-quality video with the clearest sound at full duplex digital audio enhanced by noise suppresion and echo cancellation features.

Increase productivity, while saving time and money by meeting over Mozcom VideoCon.

ENTRY-LEVEL Standalone IP Cameras

The NVL-100 series of IP Camera's are the entry-level models of NetVideo Lite. These cameras can be connected directly to a TCP/IP network and remotely viewed online over the Internet using any web browser that supports Java.

These cameras come at a very low-cost with all the basic remote monitoring features provided. Basic viewing and configuration can be done through a web browser. A PC-based surveillance software is included for free. The software allows you to view, record and playback the video stream from up to 4 cameras in a quad-split screen.

Recording uses Motion JPEG (MJPEG) compression to save on storage space. At the lowest setting of 1 frame-per-second (fps), a single 20GB hard drive can store up to 1 month's worth of video.

Like its higher-end siblings, the NVL-120 and NVL-121 can be configured to detect events like motion. It can be programmed to generate responses such as sending an email or activating an alarm.

The NVL-121 supports both wired (802.3) and wireless LAN (802.11g) standards. When used in conjunction with Wi-Fi Access Points (WAP), one can setup a wireless surveillance system quickly and affordably. It supports 64/128-bit wireless encryption standards for securing the video being streamed over wifi.

Advanced network features include Dynamic DNS, PPPoE, HTTP, and SMTP.
