CDC Upgrades Biometric Timekeeping Facility

Clark Field, Pampanga — In an effort to modernize its timekeeping and payroll facilities, the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) held a public bidding for a new system to replace its aging timekeeping devices.  Mozcom won the P1.5M contract with its NetSecure product line.

The project called for the deployment of eight networked kiosks equipped with barcode readers and fingerprint scanners for identifying and verifying the identity of the employee respectively.  CDC employees will be issued new barcoded ID’s.

Mozcom’s system includes an integrated Human Resource Information System (HRIS) that puts together data previously stored independently in different PC’s within Accounting and HR.  The new HRIS gives a complete picture of an employee’s 201 record under one roof — from his personal info and employment history, to his educational attainment, performance appraisal, list of commendations and offenses, and even to his medical insurance availment.  Redundant information is eliminated and CDC is assured of consistent employee information.
