mobiusonline ePoints now accepted in Picatoo

May 15, 2007 -- Anyone can now have their photos printed online even without a credit or debit card. Online photo developing website Picatoo has partnered with mobiusonline to enable users to print their photos using ePoints.

Owned and operated by Digital Media Exchange, mobiusonline is an online portal that sells a wide range of mobile and communication necessities including prepaid cards, Mobius games, credit for IDD access, and airtime for satellite television. The site uses a virtual currency called “ePoints” that allows all users to complete online transactions without having a bank account, credit card, and mobile payment service. As of press time, Mobius Online enjoys a patronage of 6.2 million members, a sum total which includes online gamers and ePoints users.

Users may avail of ePoints as prepaid cards that can be bought in loading centers in malls all over the country. A complete list of retail outlets can be found in www.mobiusonline.net. One ePoint is equivalent to exactly one Peso. Alternately, ePoint credits may also be availed through phone load conversion and ATM direct debit.

"Members of mobiusonline enjoy a digital lifestyle, even in the way they manage their photos," says Edward Diwa, Director of mobiusonline. The partnership with Picatoo will provide their subscribers with another service that really complements their lifestyle. The partnership with Mobius Online is geared to "to reach a wider and younger audience who may not have means to pay electronically, but have a, more or less, regular access to retail outfits which sell the ePoint credits," says Lea Dimalanta, Mozcom Marketing Manager. The online developing website welcomes its Mobius clientele by providing a P250 discount coupon to the first 40 ePoint transactions, while the succeeding 400 will receive P100 off on their printing requirement. This promo will run for six months beginning June 2007.
