New Kiosk Models Unveiled at
E-Services Philippines 2006
February
16, 2006
Two new models of the NetMachine Kiosk series were unveiled at the E-Services
Philippines 2006 in Shangri-la Hotel EDSA.
The NMK-200 comes in steel-brush gray, with a sleek modern design. The
LCD monitor is mounted on a tiltable frame to adjust to the height of
the user. A mini billboard is attached behind the monitor,
and can be used for posting advertisements or instructions.
The NMK-150 is a modified version of the earlier NMK-110 model and
comes with a bills verification and acceptor unit. It can accept
Philippine Peso bills.
"The kiosk is the ideal self-service terminal," said Dick Chiang,
COO/CTO of Mozcom. "And now with the bills acceptor technology, it
can accept payments and can be used for applications like prepaid
surfing or even for dispensing prepaid phone card or Internet access
online."
All kiosks can be customized and equipped with a touch screen, WiFi connectivity,
RFID/smart card/magnetic stripe/barcode readers and
fingerprint scanners.
Using a magstripe reader, the kiosks can be integrated with the PayEasy
Online Payment System to clear credit card transactions over the Internet
in
real-time.
