First Graduation Ceremony Webcast
Powered by Mozcom
March 22, 2006

Mozcom provides a historic first this March--the live webcast of the Ateneo de Manila University’s graduation rites. A total of 500 graduating students from the Ateneo Grade School, 513 from the Ateneo High School, and 1,660 undergraduates and 234 graduates from the Loyola Schools will be a part of the first ever webcast of a graduation ceremony in a Philippine university.

Anyone can view the ceremonies as it is taking place by logging on to mms://graduation.mozcom.com/ateneo. The Grade School and High School graduation webcasts are scheduled on March 23, 2006 at 5pm and March 26, 2006 at 4:30 pm respectively. As for the John Gokongwei School of Management and the School of Science and Engineering, the webcast of their graduation rites will start at 4pm on March 24, 2006 while the Schools of Humanities and Social Sciences are scheduled on March 23, 2006 at 4pm.

Another innovation by Mozcom, webcasting is a broadcast of an event or a recording of an event over the World Wide Web. Mozcom also provided the live webcast of PBA’s Game 4 of the Fiesta Conference Finals between the crowd-favorite Barangay Ginebra Kings and the Red Bull Barakos last July 7, 2004.
