Mozcom NetPix offers users free online photo sharing

Manila, Philippines -- Mozcom today announced a free online photo album service open to the entire Filipino Internet community. The new service, dubbed "NetPix", relies on open source software and Mozcom's nationwide infrastructure. This solution is the latest addition to Mozcom's market-leading collection of Internet features and value-added services.

Mozcom NetPix is a user-friendly online photo album service patterned after features of highly popular online photo services abroad. The service offers the user the means to archive memories, allowing the user to upload up to 200 pictures online for free! It also has the capability to categorize pictures into albums, for easy organization.

"We consider having an online photo album community an integral part of our consumer strategy. Mozcom NetPix provides the user access to his or her online photo collection. It's free and easy to use" said Dick Chiang, COO/CTO of Mozcom. "Mozcom customers can avail of additional album space under our new M-Powered postpaid dialup plans by using its unique credits-based features."

Mozcom was established in 1994, making it the Philippines' 1st commercial ISP. Its nationwide pure-IP backbone was the first of its kind, and to this day, provides the infrastructure that runs corporate virtual private networks (VPNs), the campus network of the major educational and research institutions, and provides true dialup roaming for mobile users from Northern Luzon to Southern Mindanao.

Mozcom is expanding to provide total business solutions. It also specializes on open source, XML, Web Services, and mobile technology. Mozcom provides anti-virus and anti-spam protection as standard features of its service. For more information on Mozcom, visit http://www.mozcom.com or call 848-2606.
