Mozcom Introduces Remote Video Monitoring
and Recording
October 14, 2004

Keeping an eye on one's home, business and workplace is now easier through Mozcom's NetVideo, a line of IP-based video monitoring solutions that, allow business owners and managers to see what is happening at their store, office, warehouse or factory anytime, anywhere.

This program makes use of off-the-shelf surveillance cameras, or existing CCTV cameras and integrates it with Open Source or proprietary software to allow live viewing from anyplace on the Internet. Stand-alone localized versions are also available.

NetVideo is capable of saving its input onto the hard drive of the monitoring machine, or on the video transmitter appliance itself. Simultaneous monitoring, recording and playback is possible. The length of the video that can be stored is dependent on the available disk space and resolution of the image configured.

Advanced features like motion detection, night vision, long period recording and multi-site monitoring and management are also supported. Mobile support is provided by PocketPC PDA users with GPRS service.
