Mozcom Online Store opens virtual doors for business
December 12, 2005

The Mozcom Store opens its online doors for business. This e-commerce website makes Mozcom products and services available for purchase over the Internet.

The products available for online purchase include low-priced items like Nitro prepaid Internet cards, M-Powered postpaid plan subscriptions and domain name registration. Higher-priced business solutions like Point-of-Sale (POS) peripherals, Smart Cards, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) equipment, biometric time and attendance systems, and Digital Video Recorders (DVR’s) are also available for sale.

"E-commerce is the future and the Mozcom Store is our first step into that foray," says Mike Solis, Mozcom’s NetProfit Product Specialist. "This site will hopefully serve as a showcase for other retailers to also offer their goods and services online."

Powered by the PayEasy Online Payment System, the Store can accept probably the most number of payment methods in the local market today, including international credit cards, ATM debit cards, PayPal, BitPass, UCPB my1time, and Globe’s G-Cash. PayEasy runs in a secure server with SSL Certificate.

"The Mozcom Store is really more of a reference e-commerce website that other local companies can study and emulate," Solis added.

Mozcom offers turn-key shopping cart applications and templates for any industry. Mozcom also sells SSL Certificates for use in Windows and Linux environments at very affordable prices.

Mozcom was established in 1994, making it the Philippines’ 1st commercial ISP. Its nationwide pure-IP backbone was the first of its kind, and to this day, provides the infrastructure that runs corporate virtual private networks (VPNs), the campus network of the major educational and research institutions, and provides true dialup roaming for mobile users from Northern Luzon to Southern Mindanao.
